Re-enchantment - Celebrating the coming of spring (Beltane) and the need for re-enchantment in our traditions. Costumes were made with traditional basketmaking techniques and natural fibres. The costumes are part of a larger picture creating ritualistic performance pieces, that enact the growth and coming of spring.
Treebud series
Showing 2/7 masks hand made using natural fibres sustainably harvested from the local area. Honouring the plants through adaptions of lore around Beltane to bring fruitful seasons ahead, welcoming new growth and dancing away the frost from the buds.
